About the Susan A. & Joseph N. Graif Foundation Inc.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The Foundation is also permitted by the Commonwealth of Virginia to solicit funds for non-profit activities. A financial statement is available upon written request from the Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs in the Division of Consumer protection of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Graif residence is ADA compliant. Contributions are tax deductible (be certain to consult your tax advisor regarding details specific to your situation).  All funds received will be used to defray the cost of compensating the performers and cover the administrative expenses of the foundation. Foundation Philosophy

  • Our Mission - To nurture, support and promote the Musical Performing Arts in Isle of Wight County, Virginia.

  • Our Vision - To showcase world-class talent through five public concerts each year, held at the home of Sue and Joe Graif. To accept donations of loved, but no longer needed, instruments and place them with deserving students and professionals of all ages.

  • Our Values - We value our members and donors above all else. We believe in the intrinsic value of all genres of music and of those who bring them to the listening audience. We will strive for variety in our presentations and diversity in our performers. The Foundation will always conduct its affairs in an ethical and honest manner.
